India’s young opener Abhishek Sharma lit up the Asia Cup 2025 Super Four clash against Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium by smashing a half-century in just 24 balls. The left-hander’s breathtaking knock helped him break his mentor Yuvraj Singh’s record of the fastest 50 for India in T20Is against Pakistan.
Back in December 2012 at Ahmedabad, Yuvraj had reached his fifty in 29 balls against the Men in Green. Abhishek’s whirlwind innings has now gone five balls quicker, setting a new benchmark for Indian batters.
Fastest 50s in India-Pakistan T20Is
